About Me

After earning my B.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Western Illinois University in 1998, I continued on my educational path and went to Physician's Institute Of Therapeutic Massage in Las Vegas, NV. After earning my massage certificate in 1999, I became an Illinois Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). After working one year in an Occupational Therapy Clinic and eight years in a Chiropractic Office, I decided to work specifically in the massage therapy profession at Pizzazz Salon Hair Design and Massage. I have continued my education with additional specialized training to build my experience. My main specialized training has been in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy. 

My goal is to help clients by treating the cause of pain, rather than just the symptoms, have my clients achieve function, mobility and freedom from pain.
